HI YO! My name is Christopher Herbst. Currently I am a animation student making my way through Sophomore Year at Ringling College of Art and Design. While it is hard work, I am living my dream. Since Middle School (and in snippets before hand) I have been an animator. Through stick figure fighting animation, I found art communities and a love for the craft. Later in high school, I learned I not only had a love for motion, but the stories and visuals that go with it in film and art. Now I go to college to study it and create animation, and I cannot be more thrilled to do the work I am doing.

I am very interested in animation, but I also love Story Telling, Poetry, Visual Art, and Video Games, and Esports. I especially love the video game Super Smash Brothers, and often compete in and help run tournaments at Ringling and near my hometown in Massachusetts (i go by "ionis" in those communities). Below I have some of my tournament vods as well as some personal art/sketches/wips I've done recently in-between classwork.
